Day 1 - Cairo
Arrived at Cairo airport where our representative will
welcome you and assist in the various approaches. You\'ll be accompanied by
private car to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 - Cairo
Breakfast at hotel. Visit the Giza plateau with the three major pyramids:
Cheops, and Chefren Mykerinos and the Sphinx, lion-headed human embodying the
king or the god as a vengeful. Then visit the necropolis of Sakkarah with the
famous pyramid of King Djoser degrees, the pyramids royal funerary texts, the
mastabas .... And to finish the day visit Memphis,
a colossus of Ramses II in alabaster beautiful dimensions. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3- Cairo
/Aswan
Breakfast at hotel. Visit the Citadel of
Saladin, with his pregnant mosque of Mohamed Ali. Then the Coptic district,
this district is older than the city itself must be seen to get an idea of the
atmosphere in which the early Christians living in Egypt. Hanging Church & Ben-ezra
Synagogue. Finish with a visit to the Museum of Egyptian
Antiquities, founded in 1857 by French
Egyptologist Auguste Mariette, which houses more than 250,000 rooms including
the fabulous treasures of Tutankhamen. transfer to Cairo
station to take sleeper train to Aswan
, dinner and night in train
Day 4 Aswan
Breakfast in train , arrived at Aswan, welcome by our
representative , free day ( Optional day tour to Abo simbel ) . night in hotel
Day 5 - Aswan
Breakfast in hotel. Visit of the Temple of Philae,
dedicated to the worship of the goddess Isis, then the granite quarry with the
Unfinished Obelisk and finally the High Dam Nasser giving birth to the Lake Nasser.
Transfer to your boat, installation in your cabin. Lunch on board. Departure of
the boat for Luxor.
Dinner on board followed by an oriental evening (with oriental entertainment:
Nubian dancer and traditional music). Overnight on board.
Day 6 - kom
Ombo/Edfu/Esna
Breakfast on board. Visit of the Temple of Kom Ombo, the peculiarity of which is to
be dedicated to two divinities: Sobek (in head of crocodile) and Horus (in head
of hawk). Navigation towards Edfu. Lunch on Board. Departure in carriage for
the visit of the Temple of Edfu, the holy city of Horus and the temple built in its honor. This
temple in the extravagant dimensions is the best preserved wide Egypt.
Navigation until Luxor.Dinner and Overnight on board.
Day 7 - Esna/Luxor
breakfast on board. Free morning. Lunch on
board. Visit of the Temple
of Karnak, dedicated of
the worship in the glory of the god Amon, but as the other numerous Egyptian
temples, the other gods and the goddesses were worshipped there. It is the the
oldest known religious site to the world. And the Temple of Luxor,
It was dedicated to the dynastic god Amon under its two aspects of heavenly
Amon-Re and ithyphallique divinity. The most ancient at present visible parts
go back up to Amenhotep III and to Ramses II. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 8 - Luxor
/ Cairo
Breakfast on board. Discovery of the Valley of Kings, where most
of the Pharaohs of the XVIIIth in the XXth dynasty were interred and the Valley
of the Queens, is the necropolis of the royal wives, the girls, sometimes the
sons) of kings of the XIXth and XXth dynasties. Then continuation towards two
impressive Giants of Memnon, last vestiges of the gigantic funeral temple of Amenhotep III which does not exist any
more nowadays. And finally the visit of the Temple
of Hatshepsout, the funeral temple of Hatchepsout, dedicated to the god Amon,
but also to the gods Anubis and Hathor. This theban temple is unique and
distinguishes itself from the other temples because it is partially dug in the
rock of the theban mountain in which it leans, and amounts on three terraces
connected by sliproads. Check out room before noon. Check in at your hotel.
Afternoon, Felucca ride in Nile. transfer to Luxor station to take sleeper train to Cairo , dinner and night in train
Day 9 - Cairo
Breakfast in train . free day . night in hotel
Day 10 - Monday 28 December -
Cairo/Alexandria/Cairo
Breakfast at hotel. Morning, you will get in
the private car to have a fantastic visit to Alexandria (about 3 hours drives). Visit the
Catacomb that dates back to the early Roman period. It was discovered in 1900
after they had been looking for it for about 12 years. Cross to the Column of
Pompey, then Visit of the amphitheatre Roman of Egyptian women el-Dick,
released in 1963, pilot single of the many places of spectacles built in Alexandria. Lunch at
local restaurant. Continue to Qayetbay citadel, situated on the entrance to Alexandria\'s eastern
harbor where the place was exact of the famous Lighthouse. Enjoy the Visit of
famous library of Alexandria
building with the futurist architecture (library and interesting archaeological
museum). After visit, back to Cairo.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 - Tuesday 29 December - Cairo/Marsa
Matrouh /Oasis of Siwa
At the beginning of Cairo, you will leave by private vehicle
air-conditioned in direction Marsa matrouh, then to the Oasis of Siwa. Arrived
at Siwa, you are accomodated by our representative who will accompany you to
your hotel. Dinner and Night in hotel.
Day 12 - Oasis of Siwa
Breakfast, visit Dead
Mountain, Siwa
House Museum
& the Old Fortress of Shali, then the Oracle
Temple where you will see the
coronation hall of Alexander the Great, then the ruins of Amoun Temple.
Have a swim in Cleopatra Pool, then Dakrour
Mountain (famous for its
hot sand, the best place ever for sand bath, used as an effective natural cure
for rheumatism, rheumatoid…etc), overnight at hotel
Day 13 - Oasis of Siwa
Breakfast, afternoon start by 4WD Jeep swim in
salt & fresh water lakes of Bir Wahed (or Well No. 1), then the Hot Spring
(37° C), stop to collect shells from the Fossils Mountain. Then enjoy watching
the sunset from the highest place around Siwa, having dinner around the
fire.New Year Party , Sleep overnight in the desert covered by the stars.
Day 14 - Oasis of Siwa
Breakfast, drive over the highest Sand Dunes
(app. 80 M) in the western desert to the east. Swim in Abou-Shrouf, the biggest
& cleanest spring (it’s sulfured water good for the skin & rheumatism),
then visiting Zauton (the Old village
of Abou-Shrouf) seeing
the Roman Olives’ Oil Press & black Roman Tomb, then the newly found Roman
Tombs (full of Skeletons). On the way back to Siwa, visit Koraishet Spring
& Ein Safi (Pure Spring), overnight at hotel.
Day 15 - Oasis of
Siwa/Marsa Matrouh/Cairo
After the breakfast, return in the private
vehicle air-conditioned for Cairo.

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for
your flight back home |
